Privacy and Security

peopleinhr.com will never share any of your personal information (your address, email, phone number, etc) with any third party (meaning any person or organisation not connected to us).  Your information will only be used for the purpose of processing your membership and contacting you about your membership.

Other than as part of a membership, we make no effort to identify public users of our site. No identifying data is disclosed to any third party for any purpose. Data that we collect is used only for service administration.

Cookies are only used to hold information relating to current navigation within the site (known as ‘session cookies’) or to provide extra help to first time visitors and optionally to store your password.

As is typical, we log http requests to our server. This means that we know the originating IP (e.g. 18.29.0.1) address of a user agent requesting a URL. We also know the Referrer and User-Agent information accompanied with an HTTP request. We do not log the specific identity of visitors, unless performing a specific online transaction or an explicit login has taken place, in which case full details are retained. We occasionally analyze the log files to determine which files are most requested and the previous site or user agent which prompted the request. Our logging is passive; we do not use technologies such as cookies to maintain any permanent information on users.

Logged information is kept indefinitely as administrative and research material; it is not disclosed outside of this site. Aggregate (completely non-identifying) statistics generated from these logs may be reported as part of research results.
